these covers work really well for the target audience. magazine - the magazine works really well as you have followed the conventions of a magazine. the picture falls nicely and works really well. the colours used dont really match which is good as it causes a cluttered effect which kids like dvd - i like the way you havent followed the conventions of a dvd. this gives it's own unique look and will catch the audience's eye. the uses of pictures are good as you havent got one group picture. criticisms - on the dvd cover, i think that the grids distract from the pictures, but it is a good idea you have with it. maybe try to use less of them in order to make it more appealing. maybe add some more colour?
